Its got nothing to do with listening, but now you listen. Budget cap means you can't spend over a certain amount, it doesn't matter how, where or why they went over, the FIA have deemed they have. Red Bull need to get better accountant's, the other 9 teams managed to do it, which part of that do you not understand???23-10-2022 10:56

No actually you're wrong its not just Hamilton fans, its all teams. It's Red Bull fans who are delusional thinking that everyone likes them. Personally I don't dislike RB or Merc, but what RB have done is now created a massive mess going forward. I just can't believe the headline reads 'Red Bull and the FIA agree penalty', why do Red Bull get too agree anything ffs! They broke the rules and should take any punishment that the FIA deem fit.23-10-2022 10:08

Normally I would agree and say Hamilton fans that are not happy but its not, its all other F1 fans and teams wanting a clamp down on this. Red Bull have broke the budget cap rules the biggest rule in the sport, and it doesn't matter at all by how much.. Hamilton and Mercedes have already had their punishment under the rules of the FIA under sporting rules and regs, Red Bull should expect theirs now, under the rules of how the whole sport is run.15-10-2022 10:08

Bearing in mind teams get lose of points for a lot less (Alpine/Renault lost points for a brake violation a couple of seasons ago, on something that wasn't even in the rules at the time! Something as big as breaking the budget cap should be a hell of a lot bigger. Have to disagree on just a reprimand.15-10-2022 09:58

Sorry you are wrong, the average F1 designer (aged between 22 and 30 ) in the UK (where the majority of teams are based) is around £50000 pounds so even allowing for extras (allowing an extra £20000) it's still around a million. Perhaps you should do some math.23-10-2022 10:17

I would say, don't let Red Bull develop their car at all next season. Fine them 4 times the amount they over spent, and also take 10million off their yearly budget as well next season. Although I'm not a Verstrappon fan, I don't think he should lose the title, maybe the constructors though. Everyone saying its 'only a small amount this and only a small amount that', it doesn't matter they are still over. That extra £1million (or whatever it is) is an extra 15-20 people, that could have been working at another team for a whole year!15-10-2022 09:39
